Hailed by Gramophone magazine as "one of the finest among the astonishing gallery of young virtuoso cellists," German-Canadian cellist Johannes Moser is gaining increasing renown for his efforts to expand the reach of the classical genre, as well as his passionate focus on new music. Johannes Moser was a recipient of the prestigious Brahms Prize (2014), and his recordings have earned him three ECHO Klassik awards and the Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik (German Record Critics' Award). Mr. Moser also served as guest artistic director for the 2017 Laguna Beach Music Festival.
Playing with scrupulous musicianship, purity of style, and sparkling keyboard command, Austrian pianist Till Fellner’s international career was launched in 1993 when he won First Prize at the renowned Clara Haskil Competition. Over more than two decades, he has become a sought-after guest with many of the world’s most important orchestras and numerous festivals. Over the past few years he has dedicated himself to the 32 piano sonatas of Ludwig van Beethoven. He performed the Beethoven cycle from 2008 to 2010 in New York, Washington, Tokyo, London, Paris and Vienna.
