In an exploration of global music traditions, legendary guitarist Sergio Assad, along with Clarice Assad’s spellbinding vocals and the enchanting rhythms of Grammy-winning Third Coast Percussion, will take audiences on a vast musical journey exploring universal themes found in stories, legends, and myths throughout the world.

Most widely known for his inclusion in the Assad Brothers guitar duo, Sergio Assad is considered one of the finest guitarists in the world. He and his brother have redefined guitar music by creating a new standard of guitar innovation, ingenuity and expression. With over 300 compositions and arrangements, Sergio Assad’s interpretations of classical works have earned him appearances with some of the greatest orchestras and musicians, including Yo-Yo Ma, Gidon Kremer, and Dawn Upshaw.

Renowned for her musical scope and versatility, Brazilian American Clarice Assad is a significant artistic voice in the classical, world music, pop, and jazz genres, renowned for her evocative colors, rich textures, and diverse stylistic range. A prolific Grammy-nominated composer, with over 70 works to her credit, her work has been commissioned by internationally renowned organizations, festivals and artists, and are published worldwide.
