With an unbridled energy, dedication and exceptional sound, the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen is joined by the lyrical vocals of mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter in Schubert’s masterful Lieder and Mozart’s magnificently grand Paris Symphony.

Internationally acclaimed Swedish mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter has long been considered one of the finest singers of her generation. With a remarkable catalog of more than 100 recordings, and three Grammy Awards, she is one of today’s most recorded artists with an unrivalled discography built across a career spanning more than three decades. Career highlights include performing Kindertotenlieder at Carnegie Hall with Metropolitan Opera and Esa-Pekka Salonen and appearing with Jonas Kaufmann and the Berlin Philharmonic, conducted by the late Claudio Abbado, for a televised performance of Das Lied von der Erde on the 100th anniversary of Mahler’s death.

The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen captivates both music critics and concertgoers around the world. Venturing beyond conventional interpretation, the musicians take a fresh and authentic approach, offering listeners fascinating new insights into familiar pieces of music ranging from Baroque, Classic and Romantic. The musical quality and precision of the orchestra’s playing is rooted in the mastery, curiosity and passion of every one of its 41 members.
