Musical America’s 2020 Ensemble of the Year, the Danish String Quartet celebrates the Nordic music from their heritage with beloved and cherished folk arrangements along with classical favorites.

Since making its debut in 2002 at the Copenhagen Festival, the Danish String Quartet has become one of the most sought-after quartets in the world. The recipient of many awards and prestigious appointments, including Musical America’s 2020 Ensemble of the Year and the Borletti-Buitoni Trust, the Danish String Quartet was named in 2013 as BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists and appointed to the The Bowers Program (formerly CMS Two). In 2018, the Danish String Quartet received its first Grammy Award nomination for its recording, PRISM I.
